Privacy Policy

Summary

We collect the minimum needed to generate listings, record product media, and keep your account working. We do not sell personal data. You can delete your data at any time by emailing support@listsmarter.app.

Information We Collect

• Account information you provide, such as your shop name, brand voice settings, and optional logo.
• Photos, videos, and voiceover audio you capture or upload to generate listings and YouTube content.
• Notes, descriptions, and listing drafts created inside the app.
• Etsy account identifiers if you choose to connect your Etsy shop via OAuth. We never see or store your Etsy password.
• Basic device and usage analytics, including crashes and feature usage, to improve app performance and reliability.

We may use privacy-focused analytics tools to understand app performance and feature usage.

Recordings (Camera, Microphone, Video)

ListSmarter can record product photos, product videos, and voiceover narration. Recording only starts after you tap a visible record control inside the app, and a visible on-screen indicator is shown while recording is active. We never record in the background or without your awareness.

You can revoke camera, microphone, or photo library permissions at any time in your iOS device settings.

Where Your Media and Data Are Stored

Photos, videos, voiceover audio, listing drafts, and shop data are uploaded to and stored on our secure servers operated by us and our hosting providers so you can access them across your devices.

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS and encrypted at rest.

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

We retain your media and account data only as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Deleted accounts and associated stored media are permanently removed from active systems within 30 days unless retention is legally required.

How We Use Your Information

• Generate listing drafts and related content.
• Store and sync your photos, videos, and voiceovers across devices.
• Support Etsy exports when you choose to connect your Etsy shop.
• Process subscription billing through Apple and RevenueCat.
• Improve app quality, reliability, and performance.

Your recordings, uploaded content, and Etsy-derived data are never used to train public AI models.

How We Share Information

• With trusted AI infrastructure providers solely for generating listing drafts and related content.
• With Etsy, only when you explicitly export a listing draft using the official Etsy Open API.
• With Apple and RevenueCat for subscription and billing processing.
• With our hosting and storage providers to securely operate the service.

We never sell your personal data and never share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Etsy Data — Freshness, Scope, and Use

When you connect your Etsy shop, ListSmarter requests only the minimum OAuth scopes needed to:

• Read your shop information
• Read your listings
• Create draft listings on your behalf when you tap Export

ListSmarter only creates draft listings unless you explicitly choose to publish them within Etsy.

We never cache listing content for more than 6 hours or other Etsy-related content for more than 24 hours.

We never use Etsy-derived data to train AI models or perform cross-seller analytics, in accordance with the Etsy Open API Terms of Use.

Etsy Buyer Notifications

ListSmarter never sends order, shipping, or tracking notifications to buyers on your behalf. All buyer-facing communication continues to flow through Etsy.

Notifications from ListSmarter are sent only to you, the seller, regarding your own shop activity and app usage.

Data Breach Notification

If we discover any incident that compromises or may compromise Etsy member data accessed through the Etsy API, we will notify Etsy's Data Protection Officer at dpo@etsy.com and affected sellers within 24 hours of discovery, as required by Section 7 of the Etsy API Terms of Use.

We will also notify you if any personal data you provided to ListSmarter is involved in a security incident.

Third-Party Content (YouTube Tutorials)

The Tutorials section may display publicly available YouTube videos embedded using YouTube's official player.

ListSmarter does not own, host, or endorse third-party YouTube content. Embedded videos are governed by YouTube's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

When you play an embedded video, YouTube may collect data according to its own policies.

Subscription Billing

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through Apple and RevenueCat. ListSmarter does not store your full payment card details.

Subscriptions can be managed or canceled at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information at any time.

To request deletion of your account and all associated stored media, email support@listsmarter.app.

International Users

By using ListSmarter, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

Children

ListSmarter is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Etsy Trademark Notice

"Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by Etsy, Inc. ListSmarter is independently built and operated by Ginger Blue LLC.
